Café Ineko
A lovely vegan restaurant in Paris
As soon as you walk through the door, you’re welcomed into a world of glass, white stone and light wood populated by vintage furniture and statement pieces (wicker baskets, suspended plants and printed cushions) that subtly and evoke the atmosphere of a house in the Balearic Islands.
Must-try dishes include the delicious spelt tabbouleh with raw and cooked vegetables (red cabbage, radish, fondant aborigines, roasted tomatoes and small shoots), the Majorcan coca with spelt flour and labneh, hummus with sundried tomatoes and a savory scone served sandwich-style with avocado and feta cheese. Without, of course, forgetting the extremely tempting desserts such as the coconut crème brûlée, reinvented lemon tart and chocolate cookies. Sip on an iced infusion of verbena, lemon and ginger at this delicious new restaurant, somewhere you need to visit because, quite simply, it’s really very good.
